1. Dean Ambrose

The biggest name on WWE's injury reserve was hit by a triceps tear in December 2017, rendering him unable to for nine months. Everything we've heard since then suggests this was an accurate estimate.

Per Dave Meltzer in a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE expect 'The Lunatic Fringe' back for "the end of summer," but not SummerSlam. Though he has been linked with countless "imminent" comebacks since WrestleMania 34, further patience is required from a fanbase desperate to see him again.

Whether Dean returns as a heel or resumes his tag partnership with Seth Rollins, a ground-shaking pop awaits him.

Estimated return: Post-SummerSlam.
