15 Interpromotional WWE Dream Matches We Need To See In 2016

2. Pentagón Jr. (AAA/LU) Vs. Kevin Owens (WWE)

Kevin Owens and Pentagón Jr. have been pretty indisputably the nastiest heels on television for much of the year, with both men going on a tear of purposely injuring opponents after matches: Owens with his apron powerbomb, and Pentagón with his seated armbreaker. Both men will do absolutely anything to win a match, or indeed to prove a point. Pentagón isn't used to competing with opponents as large as Owens, but he's also deceptively powerful for his size and has an incredibly diverse moveset. Owens has a full decade of experience on Pentagón, but the luchador is utterly fearless (cero miedo indeed) and driven by a desire for destruction. Imagine the jealous fury that led to Kevin Owens winning the NXT title via referee stoppage coming up against the psychotic aggression that almost killed Vampiro for real. Bottom line: this shouldn't - and won't - be pretty. What Should Happen: Kevin Owens bailing on the match twenty minutes in. What, he's supposed to fight a bloodthirsty skeleton ninja just for the fans' amusement?
