15 Mid 90s WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember

13. The Sisters Of Love (1996)

Chaz Warrington and Glenn Ruth ultimately were able to settle into their best gimmick as The Headbangers and become truly great complementary pieces of WWF's Attitude Era rise. However, debuting the skirt-wearing punk rockers on the first episode of Shotgun Saturday Night as habit-wearing nuns The Sisters of Love definitely left a great deal to be desired. It's said by numerous WWE veterans that Vince McMahon has to find a way to re-cast you as a performer in his own image before he'll actually allow the "real" you to become a part of your gimmick in the WWE. Just as Cactus Jack had to become Mankind before evolving into the "Three Faces of (Mick) Foley," the Headbangers had to wear a different kind of dress before being allowed to be their best selves.
