15 Most Revealing AEW Instagram Posts Of The Week (Jan 26th)
Fish puns, giant F bombs and Brian Cage's update...
This week, a wrestling promotion did what Chris Jericho has been wanting to inspire the world to do for a couple of years now: go out to sea. In honour of that, here are some puns in the form of the weekly weekswipe before we get into the real business of what the AEW superstars posted on social media.
Firstly, on firmer shores, AEW confirmed a huge 10,000 ticket sell for their Newark show in only a day, which is a hell of a bountiful catch, all things considered. Tony Khan will be happy as a clam with that, just as he will with AEW winning the Wednesday Night War again.
Meanwhile, Brian Cage refused to succumb to pier-pressure and announced that actually he ISN'T signing for AEW. At least not yet. Those news stories were no more than red herrings, as he revealed he's heading in for surgery for a torn bicep. If he's going to be tide down, the news will come after that.
On top of that, they've also made waves by being linked to Lance Archer, who hasn't yet taken the bait, but who would be yet another big fish to land.
