12. Ultimate Warrior Pins Hulk Hogan Clean At WrestleMania VI
Since winning his first championship against The Iron Sheik in 1984, Hulk Hogan never lost clean in WWF. Sure, he lost the championship to Andre The Giant through nefarious means, and had been disqualified or counted out, but Hogan never got pinned clean, ever. Especially not at WrestleMania. Heading into The Ultimate Challenge at WrestleMania VI, with both Hogans WWF Championship and Ultimate Warriors Intercontinental Championship on the line, the smart money was on Hogan to win yet again. So it was pretty shocking that Warrior not only beat Hogan for the championship, but he did it cleanly, after the press slam and the big splash. Hogan was booked to kick out, but too late. This marked the unofficial peak of HulkaMania in the WWF, which had ran wild for six straight years. Thats what made this moment so shocking.
