15 Most Surprising WWE Royal Rumble Entrants Of All Time
5. Booker T And Diesel (2011)
The 2011 Royal Rumble has the distinction of being the only 40-man Rumble match in WWE history. With ten extra wrestlers added to the match, there was an opportunity to include some serious surprises. And there were two VERY big surprises that night.
Entry 21 had Booker T come out and make his first appearance in WWE in more than three years since jumping to TNA. He cleaned house and did a spinnaoonie before being eliminated by Nexus member Mason Ryan. Entry 32 saw Diesel come out (marking Kevin Nash's first WWE appearance since 2003) and clean house as well, before being eliminated by Wade Barrett.
Both entrants were notable for Matt Striker "marking out, bro" on commentary. That obnoxious call was the nail in the coffin for Striker's broadcasting career, as he was replaced by... Booker T. Irony can be some damn ironic, huh?
