3. Bubba Ray Dudley (2015)

This surprise entrance came almost ten years since the Dudley Boyz last competed in WWE. Since that time, they went to TNA to wrestle as Team 3D, then Bubba Ray Dudley actually made it to the top of the card as Bully Ray. Still, he was a big fish in a small pond, and when the opportunity came to come back to the number one company in the world, Bubba took it and returned in Philadelphia, PA, the home of ECW, as the third entrant in the Royal Rumble.

It was one of the only bright spots on a night when the fans were incredibly disappointed with the final result. Interestingly, despite the Dudleys' storied career in the WWE, neither Bubba nor D-Von had appeared in the Rumble match before! They were always going after the Tag Team titles and in 2000 they faced the Hardy Boyz in the first ever tag team table match.
