15 Most Surprising WWE Veterans

12. Alex Riley - 9 Years

Alex Riley first debuted on the NXT show and Raw in 2010, making him a six year veteran of the main roster, but he was actually signed to the WWE back in 2007, giving him an overall nine year run with the company. Fans may not realise that he's had such longevity with the company because they've rarely used him for anything meaningful. He was the sidekick to The Miz for a long time, then he just disappeared into irrelevancy. Recently, he's been doing appearances in NXT. Still, he would no doubt defend his veteran status, pointing out that he's had experience like being in the corner of The Miz for the WrestleMania 27 main event. A spot alongside names like Cena and The Rock in a Mania show closer is a pretty big achievement, even if it was a none wrestling role.
