While Rey Mysterio certainly helped pave the way in showing that smaller wrestlers could just as easily fit into the main event scene as The Undertakers and John Cenas of this world, Daniel Bryan took that idea and ran with it in a way which means it's not just luchadores who now stand a chance of fighting their way to the top of the card. With that in mind, it's easy to see why someone like Kalisto would be grateful towards Bryan, and the photos he shared of their respective first United States title wins make for an interesting parallel. It's just a real damn shame that we never actually got to see these two square off in what would have no doubt been an exciting and memorable affair.
