5. Jim Ross Knocks Out Tazz (2000)

During Tazz's match with Jerry Lawler, Tazz taunted Jim Ross, telling him, "I'm choking you out, JR!", seconds before applying the Tazzmission on King. JR has evidently had enough by this point, getting up from the commentator's table, grabbing his inexplicably placed jar of candy and smashing it over Tazz's head, allowing King to make the cover and score the win.

This one was bizarre for two reasons: a) how often do you see JR actually do something physical? and b) does it make any sense at all for one of the company's most talented wrestlers, who has barely been in the company for 6 months no less, to start jobbing to middle-aged members of the commentary team?

This one made no sense, and ironically enough, it wasn't too long before Tazz switched career tracks to becoming a colour commentator himself.

And to think, everyone thought he was arriving in the WWE in January 2000 as a straight-up World Title contender...
