11. The Iron Man Match
If the seed of animosity was planted at WrestleMania XI, something started to sprout between the two at WrestleMania XII. Both men worked at an unbelievable pace throughout the match itself. At certain points, there were some very stiff-looking exchanges and it was obvious that the competition between the two was at an all-time high. Bret has stated Michaels dragged his motorcycle boots across his face at times during the match, and each man potatoed (i.e. hit really hard) the other in retaliation. The match ended in Sudden Death overtime after no man could score a fall within the 60-minute time limit. This controversial finish was storyline-driven and planned, but before Shawn was awarded the belt by referee Earl Hebner, Michaels screamed at Bret to "get the F out of the ring". While he could've phrased his request better, Shawn was likely concerned about being upstaged by his opponent and worried that his reign would get off on the wrong foot. Although this concern was unnecessary given Bret's history of professionalism, there had been a precedent for Shawn's concern...

As a former countywide performer, Matt has been referred to as Mr. 300 for his amazing accomplishments in the world of amateur bowling. He is also the only man on record to have pitched back-to-back no hitters in the Veterans Stadium Wiffle Ball League of 2003.
