9. The CM Punk Question

We all wondered if Steve Austin would be bold enough to ask Vince McMahon about CM Punk. Well, he did just that. He gave Vince the option by saying "Yes or no, do you want to talk about CM Punk?" Vince shifted in his chair and initially stumbled upon his words. He then found his composure and answered "I would like to apologise. Punk got his severance papers on the day of his marriage and that was a coincidence. I want to personally apologise for that." He blamed the mix up on too many departments in the WWE. Which sort of defeats his earlier arguement that more staff are needed for the company to run properly. "I hope one day we'll be able to get back together again," he says about Punk returning. He notes that previous fall-outs, such as Hogan and Warrior, ended up coming back to WWE. "Punk has a lack of communication skills, he's pretty much a loner" McMahon says of what caused the initial problems.
