So, the eventual chokeslam that 'Taker gave Mick on top of the cage was never planned, but something else was, and it's just as well it didn't happen. Completely caught up in the moment, Foley apparently forgot that both guys had just ambled over some ceiling panels and literally felt cable ties pinging free underneath them. He clutched his peer in a suplex hold and tried to muscle him over.

The Undertaker shut that down straight away. It's a good thing he did, in retrospect. Mick realises that now, because he can't figure out what he was thinking by trying to suplex 'Taker onto one of the panels. It would've given way under their weight for sure, and there wasn't even a guarantee they'd land inside the ring. Imagine all of that weight coming down at ringside, or on top of one of the steel ring posts?

Eek.

Seconds before this attempted spot, 'Taker's foot had fallen through some of the mesh that had come loose. That happened just because both guys were walking. A full on bump would've been disastrous. Knowing this, it's also astonishing that such seasoned veterans figured Mick could take a chokeslam onto the Cell's roof without falling through it. This was not mapped out well in advance.

Health and safety? What health and safety?! WWE got real lucky that one of these workers (or both) didn't suffer one of the most horrifying wrestling injuries of all time. How Foley made it out intact especially is incredible. He's fortunate fate was smiling on him that evening.
