13. The Real Truth About His Fetish

Tony took the time on VICE's show to quickly dispel some rumours about his foot fetish.

“They say I suck toes, which I don’t. They say I like high heels, which I don’t. They say that I whack off, which I don’t”. Fair enough. Atlas then went deeper by saying that it isn’t actually “a sexual thing”, but instead “keeps [him] calm”. He actually reckons it's more of a psychological thing stemming from that incident with the girl when he was younger.

Various pictures and even a piece of footage showing various women stepping right on Tony's face aired at this point in the doc. Later, a clip of someone gently kicking and punching/slapping his face is shown, and Atlas appeared to be loving every single second. However, he refutes any claims that he gets sexual kicks from such behaviour.

Again, the likes of Steamboat, Rich and Brisco don't seem sure what to make of this. Ricky does say that Tony certainly isn't "the only foot guy" out there in the world. He might not understand it, but if it's harmless then it's harmless. Atlas seems self-aware throughout this 'Dark Side Of The Ring' show that he's going to raise some eyebrows and get people talking with his fetish, but he's at peace with it.

He would like to state for the record that he isn't getting his rocks off. All he wants is some "feminine looking" footwear stepping right across his face from time to time. VICE swiftly moved on from this segment of the show afterwards.
