15 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast
10. Scott Hall
The topic now turns toward The Kliq, with Stone Cold commenting on how much heat they had when he first came into the WWE as The Ringmaster. They laugh about the awful gimmick but Shawn says he had good matches with The Ringmaster. Austin asks how the infamous group was formed. HBK says it was really just a matter of them working together and then developing a professional bond which led to personal friendships. Steve inquires about his relationship with Scott Hall, who he calls one of the smartest guys he's ever talked to. Shawn says they knew each other from their time in Kansas City. They only worked together for three months, never traveling together or anything. After Michaels went back to Texas he got a postcard from Hall just saying hi. Austin incredulously responds "Are you kidding me, a guy sent you a postcard? That's awesome. That's a rarity." Shawn said he really appreciated the gesture and thought of it as a little insight into the type of guy Hall really was. He credits Scott for always selling for him and says he could work for as big or as small as his opponent was.
