15 Things You Might Have Missed From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown

5. Asuka Barely Deserves Another SmackDown Women’s Title Shot

To recap Asuka's WWE run since losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34, she has lost her SmackDown debut (a tag-team effort with Becky Lynch against The IIconics) and won a six-person tag match the following week. Other than that, she's been working dark matches and winning on the house show loop.

That doesn't exactly equate to another crack at the SmackDown Women's Title.

Asuka should have been pushed to the back of the line after losing to Flair in New Orleans, or at least written to show she was on the path to recovery in singles matches since moving brands. Looking at the situation logically, there isn't one woman on the SmackDown roster who could rightfully claim a title shot right now.
