1. Constantly Criticising WWE
With his ego and a radio-show, Austin now can't resist putting the boot into today's WWE... even though a lot of his complaints are things that he was also guilty of in his career. For example, he's constantly bemoaning the devaluation of finishers. But hold on a minute, how many Rock Bottoms and other finishers did we see him kick out of over the years? He also criticised celebrities being part of WWE angles, yet he was the guy who benefited a ton from Mike Tyson being involved in 1998. When it comes to Austin, he looks back through rose tinted glasses. Even in his prime, he was blind to just how much of an egotist and backstage politician he had become. The bottom line is this, Stone Cold Steve Austin was just as bad as Hulk Hogan or Shawn Michaels when it came to calling the shots with Vince McMahon. The difference is that he had such a positive impact on the business, that he could get away with it, fans would love him no matter what.
