15 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Oct 23)

13. Sign Jamie Hayter

While not the dominant Baker showcase it should have been, Britt's clash with Jamie Hayter was a solid little TV match that at least established the heel as one to watch going forward.

Hayter looked tremendous here. She came off nasty and detestable from the moment she walked out of the tunnel, talking all kinds of trash as she went. This was taken to the next level as she went to work and she crushed Baker for long portions of the bout, working with indignation, fire, and intensity. She even did the Chris Brookes loogie-in-the-earhole spot, for crying out loud. AEW should sign the hell out of her are soon as they can.

An extra wrinkle came from Hayter's affiliation with Bea Priestley, whom, as Excalibur pointed out, is Jamie's Stardom tag team partner. This further justified the absolute pasting Hayter handed out and though she lost to Lockjaw, the newcomer did more than enough to put her on the map.
