15 Ways WWE Has Already Ruined Their Own 2020 Draft
3. Braun Strowman Works SmackDown
The same pretty much went for Braun Strowman.
He was drafted from SmackDown to Raw four picks ahead of Jeff Hardy, and then was (almost instantly) advertised for the next episode of blue brand TV. Braun wasn't just in a one-off match though. Nah, he was wrestling for the Universal Title against SmackDown kingpin Roman Reigns.
Those keeping score will note that two different major stars were actually non-contracted invaders on SmackDown's 'Season Premiere'. WWE hit the soft reset button too when Strowman was choked out by Roman. Come the following Raw, he was suddenly a dominating monster again.
