4. Bret Hart Vs. Shawn Michaels - Survivor Series 1997
712049Bret Hart versus Shawn Michaels is an all-time classic rivalry in the vein of Hogan and Piper, Rock and Austin or Cena and Punk, and every time they stepped foot in the ring against each other they absolutely stole the show.
Survivor Series 1997 was set to be their last match ever as WWF Champion Bret Hart was leaving for WCW, but no-one could have predicted how the main event would end. Michaels locked in Bret's own finisher, The Sharpshooter, and the referee immediately rang the bell awarding the Championship to Michaels.
Rather than risk Bret Hart heading to WCW with the WWF Championship, which he assured Vince he wouldn't do, McMahon set up a sequence of events to get the title off The Hitman any way he could, and the result was the Montreal Screwjob.
