15 Worst Royal Rumble Entrants In WWE History

9. Santino Marella

Santino Marella has the dubious distinction of being the quickest elimination in Royal Rumble history. With only one second spent in the 2009 Royal Rumble match, he is the punchline of many a Rumble joke and he most certainly deserves inclusion on this list. Just not any higher than No. 9. See, as pathetic and puny as that performance was, Santino made up for it two years later, nearly pulling off the greatest upset of all-time when he came seconds away from eliminating Alberto Del Rio and winning the entire thing. It was nearly the most unexpected moment in professional wrestling. More importantly, it redeemed him for his utter failure earlier, which still ranks as one of the most comical moments in the long history of the Rumble.
