2. Vs. Giant Gonzalez - WrestleMania IX & SummerSlam 1993
The Undertaker's had to deal with a lot of stiffs in his time, guys he's essentially had to work around, but out of all of them, Giant Gonzalez is the absolute worst. If you think the Great Khali is/was bad, go back and watch some Gonzalez matches. He makes the Punjabi Playboy look like Bret Hart by comparison. What can you say about Gonzalez and The Undertaker's WrestleMania match? Out of The Phenom's 23 'Mania outings, it is the worst. Gonzalez just wasn't cut out for wrestling and looked ridiculous in that airbrushed body suit. WWE clearly didn't learn from their mistakes and booked the match again for SummerSlam. The SummerSlam match was a 'Rest in Peace match' (essentially a No DQ match) which really didn't require the stips. 'Taker got beat up a lot (it's not like they could do high spots out there) while Gonzalez wandered around and looked like he generally didn't know what he was doing before Paul Bearer transferred the power of the urn (honestly) to The Undertaker, who made a superhuman comeback and sent the giant packing.
