Poor Shelton Benjamin. He was a victim of his own talents at WrestleMania.

Benjamin and World’s Greatest Tag Team teammate Charlie Haas defeated Los Guerreros and Chris Benoit & Rhyno at Mania 19 to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. After that, it was all downhill.

Shelton would go on to compete in five Money in the Bank ladder matches at WrestleMania, losing all of them. Benjamin was a human highlight reel, providing some of the most vivid moments in the early days of the MITB match when it was still a part of Mania. But he never was able to capture the briefcase.

As a result Benjamin might show up in a lot of highlights from WrestleMania, but his hand being raised is not among them.
