15 Wrestlers’ Daughters Following In Their Parents’ Footsteps

13. Cheerleader Melissa (Doug Anderson)

kharma Also known as Raisha Saeed and Alissa Flash, Melissa Anderson is a 15-year ring veteran, making her one of the most experienced women on this list. Her father, Doug, wrestled briefly in the 80s, but it was enough to get a young Melissa hooked on the business. Melissa has wrestled all over the world and in several promotions, but her biggest exposure came under a gimmick that pretty well hid her identity. Wearing a niqab (a mask or veil covering the face), Melissa appeared in TNA as Raisha Saeed, the manager of female phenom Awesome Kong. During her two-year tenure with the company, Melissa competed in the ring under her Saeed persona and also wrestled as Alissa Flash and even as Cheerleader Melissa. Anderson continues to wrestle on the independent circuit for several promotions, including Shimmer. At 32, she is probably beyond the age that WWE would consider bringing her into the promotion, but she has definitely put together a solid career regardless.
