15 Wrestlers Every WWE Superstar Should Study

11. William Regal

Prime Years: 1992 - 1996 & 2006 Why He Should Be Studied: The British style is not necessarily in vogue at present, with almost everyone on the WWE roster using the same, tired American formula, but if somebody did want to incorporate that style into their arsenal, Regal would be a good place to start when looking for examples of practitioners. Regal was a breath of fresh air when he arrived in WCW in 1992, offering a completely different style than anyone else was doing at the time. The upshot of that was that half of the guys in the locker room couldn't keep up with Regal's technical prowess, and Regal had to lead them through it by the arm a lot of the time. Along with being a dab hand in the ring, Regal also had the entertainment side of the business down, too. Whether it was delivering a promo, acting in a segment or providing a hilarious reaction. Regal just gets the business and is not afraid to get egg on his face, in order to entertain. There's a reason Regal's been kept on as a talent scout/Performance Centre trainer, you know.
