Terry Funk was one of the most crucial ingredients in ECW's success. He competed with the league throughout the 1990s and headlined their first Pay-Per-View event, Barely Legal. Funk wasn't the only member of his family to appear with the group, though - in 1994, his older brother Dory joined him for a feud with The Public Enemy. The program culminated at Heatwave 1994, where The Public Enemy defeated the Funks in a no-rope barbed wire match.
