2015 is in the books, ladies and gentlemen. It's time to turn the page into 2016 and look towards another twelve months of WWE action. It also means that we're oh so close to getting started on the Road to WrestleMania, considering the Royal Rumble is just around the corner. Will this finally be the year where fans leave the arena happy? Or will we be doomed to suffer another couple of months filled with threats from fans to stop watching the product? Hopefully it's the former. Despite those possibilities, it's nice to get a feel for where we are, look back and reflect on the biggest headliners of the year gone by. Seth Rollins, John Cena, Kevin Owens and Sting surely made it on the list of the year's most impactful Superstars, among many others. Which raises the question: looking forward at the year ahead once more, who do we think will leave the biggest mark on the WWE over the next 365 days?
15. Apollo Crews
When Uhaa Nation was signed to a WWE contract, wrestling fans familiar with the man's work were excited to see what he could accomplish inside a WWE ring, and it's safe to say that the man now known as Apollo Crews hasn't disappointed so far. Some have argued that he's been holding back, but he comes across really well, and it shows, since it didn't take long for Crews to earn himself an NXT Championship opportunity, in a match that only served to make Crews look even better despite him walking out unsuccessfully. The thing that sets Apollo Crews apart from the rest of the talent down in NXT, and on the whole WWE roster, is his sheer versatility. Crews embodies the power and strength of someone like Bobby Lashley but manages to compliment it with the athleticism and high-flying ability of Neville. It's not exactly a combination you see in this industry everyday, and with his added charisma it could make Apollo Crews a major player for years to come. Crews may not make his presence felt on the main roster in 2016, but with a huge name like Finn Bálor getting ready to jump ship, Crews could easily be the guy to fill his role as the top babyface of the promotion. He's an easy character to get behind and would make a fitting representative for the ever-growing brand of NXT over the next twelve months.
