Just edging out Randy Orton is the Heartbreak Kid.

Whilst both Michaels and Orton have 6 wins and 4 losses apiece at SummerSlam, HBK also has a rare draw on his record, obtained when he and Rick Martel were both counted out during their ’92 bout.

Michaels made his SummerSlam debut back in 1989 as part of The Rockers, although his early tag days weren’t exactly successful when it came to SummerSlam. Shawn’s first SummerSlam win came via a countout victory over Mr. Perfect in 1993, then came the legendary Ladder Match against Razor Ramon at SummerSlam ’95.

It's often claimed that the second half of Michaels’ career was even better than the first, and this renaissance was kicked off with a win over Triple H in a fantastic SummerSlam 2002 bout. Later would come SummerSlam tag victories over Vince and Shane McMahon and then Legacy as Shawn teamed with The Game.
