Every year around this time, WWE begins to run video packages hyping the Royal Rumble match. Each video package gives an updated list of statistics about the match, including the fastest ever elimination, the longest time spent in a Rumble, and the most eliminations in a single Rumble. One statistic that always seems to be left out regards who has spent the longest combined time in Royal Rumble matches, the iron man of the event if you will. This list counts down the top fifteen cumulative times spent in the Royal Rumble. You might expect this list to be populated entirely by industry veterans who have competed at the event for years, but in fact there are a few younger superstars who make an appearance thanks to either one particularly impressive Rumble, or simply an accumulation of a few reasonable attempts. Of these fifteen iron men, only three of them have never won the Rumble, possibly indicating that entering earlier in the match actually increases your chances of winning.
