7. Learning Charisma From Art Barr
Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr formed the acclaimed tag team Los Gringos Locos that competed in Mexico. At the time, Eddie was known as the worker and Art was the personality of the team. He had tremendous charisma and Eddie hadn't yet tapped into that. Chavo says that Eddie told him that he didn't understand he was the son of Gory Guerrero and Art Barr was getting paid more than him in Mexico. Eventually he came to realize it's because he was lacking in the charisma department. When Art passed away in 1994, the guys say that Eddie would often talk about how, when his friend died he passed on his charisma to him. Chavo said not only did Art pass that to Eddie, but Eddie passed it on to him, comparing the way Eddie felt while teaming with Barr to the way he felt teaming with his uncle.
