16 Match Star Ratings For WWE WrestleMania 39

9. The Miz Vs. Pat McAfee

Star Ratings
WWE

This was absolutely sh*te.

Michael Cole pretending to be shocked at the very presence of Pat McAfee is growing tiresome, as is Pat's back flip off the top turnbuckle spot. Yes, it's impressive, but he registers it, smugly, like he's blowing your mind for the first time. That take may have been driven by a personal aversion to McAfee's general vibe, but the WWE base usually loves the guy and even they couldn't be arsed with this.

The SoFi crowd was red-hot all night, but not here. Miz talked himself into a match he didn't want, but unannounced co-host Snoop Dogg sanctioned it anyway. Pat beat him with the punt after an American football player interfered. Michael Cole pretended that he had witnessed the face of God.

The end.
