16 Most Illustrious Fake Families In Wrestling History

2. The Andersons

The original Andersons were Lars and Gene, the Minnesota Wrecking Crew, and of the two, only Gene was actually named Anderson. Lars merely resembled him, and they were billed as brothers, later joined by Ole. Later still Arn was put in a tag team with Ole and the clan as a brother, cousin, or maybe nephew?

This new version of the Wrecking Crew eventually joined with Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard as the original Four Horsemen, and as a way to make the bond between them stronger, it was said that the Nature Boy himself was a distant cousin of the Andersons. Naturally, that means his (real) children David and Charlotte attend (kayfabe) Anderson family reunions as well.

Apart from this, there's a whole generation of subsequent Andersons with no ties whatsoever with the originals, including ECW's C.W. Anderson and current Raw laughingstock Karl Anderson. All bald white guys with beards are Andersons. That's just science.
