16 Reasons 2014 Was A Terrible Year For WWE

2. The End Of The Streak

This entry is so high on this list because of its symbolic meaning. Not only has the Undertaker€™s legendary Streak been conquered this year at WrestleMania XXX, but it was conquered by Brock Lesnar, a part-time Superstar, and the match itself could definitely have been better. Worse yet, Undertaker suffered a nasty concussion and neck injury in his match, and Vince left the show for the first time ever to make sure €˜Taker was OK. Furthermore, this loss symbolizes the failing health of the Undertaker the man, which in turn means that his career is more or less over. The Undertaker has been arguably the most venerated, respected and popular WWE Superstar of all time. He has been a WWE guy since 1990, and has provided fans with countless memorable moments in the WWE. Moreover, both fans and his peers have been almost universal in their praise of him. And now, it seems like his career has come to an end. Many feel that his Streak shouldn€™t have ended, while others think that he should€™ve passed the torch onto someone other than Lesnar. At this point, no one is sure about Undertaker€™s future. There are no plans for him to wrestle at WrestleMania 31, and he has started to act as an €˜advisor€™ for NXT. For fans of the Undertaker, for those who have grown up watching the Undertaker, it looks like it is finally time for The Last Outlaw to ride off into the sunset.
