2. Debuting On Raw
Owens said he found out just a couple of days before his debut that he would be on Raw and that it would be with John Cena. He said one of the coolest part of it all was that moving his family wasn't an easy decision, and while his wife supported him, his son wasn't as excited. He didn't want to leave his friends and family, but Owens had to use two selling points to get him to agree. One of them was that they'd get to visit Disney a lot, and the other is that he'd maybe get to see his dad work with John Cena, who his son had been a huge fan of since he was four-years old. Kevin mentions the YouTube video his wife posted of his son's reaction where he's sitting on his bed with his Cena wrestling buddy when his dad's music hits. He says that while from a career standpoint, Cena's a top guy and this is huge for his career, it's extra special because it's making his son's day.
