15. Expectations
Sasha admits that when she first got into wrestling a lot of the divas were doing the more sexualized performances such as bra and panties matches, and that was never her goal. She said she always wanted to wrestle like the guys and was frustrated when it seemed like you had to be on the cover of Playboy to be a female star in WWE. She says when she first came to NXT they were all told to "wrestle like divas" which entailed hair-pulling and catfights, and says that she and the other women down there basically had to fight to create their own opportunities to step outside of that box because it wasn't what anyone of them wanted. She says they forced them pay attention to them, and now they're getting multiple divas matches on Raw for the first time.
