Jinder Mahal vs. Roman Reigns was booked to fail. Not only was it positioned in the death slot after the white-hot women's ladder match, but it played out through a slow, resthold-heavy house show style that the Chicago crowd wanted nothing to do with. They were too busy chanting "CM Punk" and performing Mexican waves to give a hoot about Reigns or Mahal, who didn't stand a chance.

WWE followed this with an advertisement for the upcoming USA Special Olympics, of which they claim to be "proud sponsors." A nice gesture, and the company even gave featured powerlifter Katie Millar a front row ticket, but it's positioning was problematic.

Why? Because WWE aired the vignette moments after Roman Reigns had literally beaten up a man in a wheelchair.

Sunil Singh isn't disabled, of course, but this sequencing is impossibly dumb. The crassness of these optics shouldn't need explaining, and if WWE knew they were going to air a Special Olympics advert, they should have done everything in their power to ensure it wasn't anywhere near the part where a wheelchair-bound man got Speared to hell.
