Jake Roberts warned WWF officials against booking a DDT spot on the concrete back in 1986. They didn't heed that warning, and Ricky Steamboat ended up with a serious concussion after splatting head first onto the ringside mats. It looked vicious, and it's become stuff of legend.

Paying tribute to the spot is also a great and credible way to be a dirtbag heel.

That's surely what Andrade was going for when he DDT'd Humberto Carrillo on the concrete this week. Watch both moves back-to-back and you'll notice something else: Jake's one had more torque and was performed with serious speed. Meanwhile, Andrade's fall was a little bit more gentle.
