WWE like ThunderDome participants to be animated. Fans who have joined in on the fun before already know something else: NXT's screens aren't actually live. Weirdly, that appeared to be the case on this week's SmackDown too. It's either that or WWE's producers were in everyone's ears demanding that they flail about.

That's possible.

Whatever the case, it did look like WWE had some footage in the can. People were thrashing around in the background as Daniel Bryan spoke solemnly, for example - it didn't fit, and their actions never once corresponded with what he was talking about.
