16 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Double Or Nothing 2019

8. Hot Tag Team Action

The build for the Beast Friends vs. Jack Evans and Angelico saw Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta originally consigned to the Casino Battle Royale, only to coerce the Young Bucks into giving them a tag bout after threatening to kill their family in a fake ransom video on Being The Elite. The bout was every bit as entertaining as the setup.

There was no real heat between these two teams, so they went for visceral thrills instead. Evans and Angelico were particularly impressive. Their all-action lucha style is a joy to behold when they hit their stride, and while both are impressive athletes on their own, they look even better when they come together with their slick, fluid double-teams.

"A-E-W" and "this is awesome!" chants broke out towards the end, with Excalibur popping his t*ts off in the announce booth. A Best Friends Doomsday Knee, Taylor tope, and Strong Zero but the fliers away, and if this is a sign of things to come, AEW's tag division is going to rule.
