9. Casino Night Chaos

Battle royals rule, and while ostensibly a big bad banter match, the Casino Battle Royale did everything it needed to on the Buy In pre-show, delivering all kinds of fun moments and, more importantly, the right winner.

Sonny Kiss teabagged the sh*t out of Tommy Dreamer, who was clad in his Dusty Rhodes tribute baggy pants. Jimmy Havoc stapled a cigarette to Joey Janela's face. Brian Pillman Jr. sported a majestic bleach blonde mullet. Glacier existed. Absolute unit Ace Romero hit a crazy suicide dive. Orange Cassidy once again proved himself the world's premier comedy wrestler, lighting Dreamer up with his trademark slow-motion offense. Shawn Spears and MJF's Being The Elite rivalry manifested in the real world. Luchasaurus emerged as the WhatCulture office's new favourite wrestler. It was a hoot, baby, and the list of fun moments goes on.

But the drama was always going to be centered around the 21st entrant, and while many had Jon Moxley pegged for this spot, it was Adam 'Hangman' Page who strode out. Robbed of his PAC match, Page scored something bigger: a shot at the AEW World Title, having nailed the unaware MJF with his Buckshot Lariat then thrown him over the top for a crowd-popping victory.
