Right on cue, the New Day came out to cut an opening promo. They stuck to conventional heelish topics for the most part, talking up their own achievements and mercilessly mocking the local sports team (in this case, the Philadelphia Eagles). However, the most shocking part of their promo came when Xavier announced that no group in history had achieved domination of the scale they did on Raw. The three then proceeded to name several modern and past stables, including the Shield, Wyatts, Nexus, and even the New World Order - proclaiming themselves to be better than all of them. They even engaged in some outright ridicule, mimicking the nWo's iconic 'Wolfpac' hand gesture. Of course, it wouldn't be a New Day promo without some sort of absurd slant. The trio made sure to throw out a few slightly less iconic names, such as the Corre, WCW's Dungeon of Doom, and Los Boricuas.
