16 WWE Superstars Who Did Not Belong At WrestleMania

8. Sapphire

The sidekick of Hall of Famer "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Sapphire was a fun-loving second. She danced and cheered Dusty on as he battled the likes of Ted DiBiase and Randy Savage over a one-year stretch. A former driver for the Superstars of Vince McMahon's traveling circus, she was a fan above all else and had no business ever stepping inside a squared circle for a professional wrestling match. That did not stop McMahon from booking her in one, the first-ever Mixed Tag Team match in WWE history at WrestleMania VI. There, she teamed with Rhodes to battle Savage and his second, trained wrestler "Sensational Queen" Sherri Martel. Her performance was every bit as bad as expected. She was untrained and could not pull of a convincing strike or body slam to save her soul. She looked painfully out of place. Sapphire was loved by many of her peers but friendliness and a fun-loving personality do not a wrestler make. No matter how solid the story was.
