9. Chris Jericho Is The Wise-Cracking Action Hero You Always Wanted

The Movie: Y2J is an over-the-hill, divorced, possibly alcoholic detective who nevertheless gets the job done when the rest of his colleagues can't. Throw every action cliche at the book and, with Jericho's killer sense of humour, this one could be a doozy. Why It'd Be Awesome: In fairness, Jericho has already appeared in his share of movies (including a starring role most recently in the 2015 TV movie Nothing to Report), but it'd be great to see him in a proper, theatrical action movie with a script befitting his marvelous mic skills. Jericho's vibrant persona makes him an easy fit for the world of movies, so it's no surprise that he's won a ton of bit-parts over the years, but with his look and comic timing abilities, he deserves a strong star vehicle. Think John McClane (Bruce Willis) in Die Hard with a Vengeance: seeing Y2J running around New York with a killer hangover could make for a hilariously entertaining action flick.
