17 Early 90s WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember
7. Damien Demento
Phillip Theiss character in WWF was that of a mentally-disturbed individual (really original, right?) Billed from the outer reaches of your mind, he was meant to be a demented character, hence his name. Apart from being so disturbed, his main claim to fame was losing to the Undertaker on the very first episode of RAW on January 11th, 1993. Since then, he has gone one to wrestle on the independent scene on again and off again. Like many wrestlers, he started his own YouTube channel, where he answers fan questions and gives his opinions on various matters. Apparently, he doesnt appear to be a fan of wrestlers using marijuana, but thats a discussion for another day.
Alexander Podgorski is a writer for WhatCulture that has been a fan of professional wrestling since he was 8 years old. He loves all kinds of wrestling, from WWE and sports entertainment, to puroresu in Japan.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University in Political Studies and French, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration. He speaks English, French, Polish, a bit of German, and knows some odd words and phrases in half a dozen other languages.
