17 Things You Need To Know From Attending UK WWE Raw And Smackdown

14. The Shows Hadn't Sold Out

Despite what Michael Cole said on the Raw TV Broadcast about Monday being "sold out", it certainly didn't look that way in the arena. It was nearly full, that much is true. However, there were definite pockets of gaps and empty spaces. Had fans just not turned up? Possibly. More likely is WWE just didn't manage to sell all their allocation. Even in the week before they were giving away comps. It's unknown how many people would've attended the show without even paying. For the most part, it was near full of paying customers, but it wasn't like this was what Cole made out. Smackdown on the other hand was nowhere near full. They curtained off a tier that had previously been full on Raw. There was also black outs for other small sections and various empty seats. That's a shame because Smackdown was actually the far superior night.
