17 Things You Need To Know From Attending UK WWE Raw And Smackdown

11. Cena Is Hated And It Maybe Bothered Him

John Cena was not a popular man in Liverpool. A controversial "Cena Sucks C**k" chant was underway before the taping had even started, which surely troubled some of the family and children seatings. The fans chanting that obviously didn't care, these older fans believe the show exists primarily for them (and not the younger fanbase that the product is clearly built for). The rights and wrongs of that behaviour is something that WWE struggle to reconcile. When Cena did appear, he was loudly booed and jeered. Did this get to him? Possibly. There was a dark segment after the show when Cena was going to hit his AA on Rollins. However, the booing from the crowd every time he hoisted Rollins up was intense. Cena ended up never hitting the AA and instead went to the back without really spending much time at ringside.
