8. Only Watching Secondary Shows

Some wrestling fans did have Sky, but didn't have parents willing to pay for the expensive Sky Sports package, which means finding out what had happened on Raw from watching secondary shows airing on "free" channels such as Sky One. These broadcasts, like WWF Superstars, Sunday Night Heat and others featured a few matches of their own, but more importantly, had a round up of what had happened on the flagship show. To cement this example using modern terms, imagine young fans only knowing what happened on Raw by watching Main Event.
