13. Adulation For Davey Boy Smith

Wade Barrett may receive a better reaction when WWE visit the UK, compared to the one he gets in the US, but it's nothing like what Davey Boy Smith used to get. Known as The British Bulldog, Smith was simply adored on UK soil, and treated like a star on par with Hulk Hogan whenever he appeared. It's difficult to explain for fans who didn't live through it, but there was a real kinship with the Bulldog, likes fans were vicariously living through his actions, living out their own dreams of being a WWF Superstar.
