17 Things We Learned From AJ Styles On Talk Is Jericho

3. Triple H

In response to Styles saying that he'd like to work with Triple H, Jericho asks if he'd had interactions with him before he came to WWE. AJ replies that the first time he met him and shook his hand was at The Royal Rumble. He said he was shocked and surprised to see that the guy who has accomplished so much inside the ring and out of it - including "turning things around" and producing NXT - was so humble. He says the two men had had some good conversations that were all business and one of the last times they'd spoken was around Christmas, where they'd discussed the holidays and their kids, and he knew from talking to him that WWE was a great place to be. This leads to talk about agents such as Arn Anderson and Michael Hayes and what it's like to have such highly regarded veterans around backstage, and he says that he knew them from WCW and they'd always been good to him.
