17 Things We Learned From The Dudley Boyz On Talk Is Jericho

1. Favorite Matches

We close with the go-to question of each guy's favorite match from their career. D-Von names the first TLC match from SummerSlam 2000 vs. The Hardys and Edge and Christian, as well as the second TLC match from WrestleMania 17, saying it was an honor to steal the show on the biggest stage of them all. He also talks about a bout where they put Balls Mahoney through a flaming table in Detroit after a riot in the arena, as well as the night the two of them got back together in ECW after being separated for a while. Bubba says he doesn't have favorite matches, but rather favorite moments. The two that he's most proud of are WrestleManias 16 and 17, and the reason for that is because despite the fact that they weren't in the main event, their matches are the ones that are still talked about today. He adds that 17 is commonly remembered as the greatest wrestling show of all-time.
"I'll never sit here and tell you we're the best because that's all subjective, but there are moments in history that we have been a part of that I'm really proud of, and I can sit back and look any wrestler in the face and ask 'Have you done what we were able to do'?"
This was another great installment in the Talk Is Jericho series and hopefully there's good things in store for the Dudleys, because they can be a great addition to WWE if they continue to use them properly.
